LHP Prizegiving ceremony 2022

Dear Committee and Sponsors, The Prizegiving ceremony of the London Hellenic Prize was held at the Academy of Athens on Monday, and has been hailed as an unmitigated success. The Ceremonial Hall was filled with eminent visitors, including Ambassador Papadopoulos who read the statement of H.E. the President - sadly absent due to illness, and former PM of Greece Loucas Papademos . Following a welcome and informative introduction by LHP Director Michael Moschos, our committee members Robin Lane Fox and Michael Paschalis spoke about Hellenism and the international impact of the LHP, and judged the prize-winning title to be "the best of all historical dictionaries from the French to the Greek revolutions". The two prize-winners were presented with their prize, and Paschalis Kitromilides gave an address to the audience.
